College Football Betting Line for Week 1

The college football betting line is out for Week 1 with games beginning on Thursday, September 2nd. The feature game on Thursday has South Carolina hosting Southern Mississippi on ESPN.  The Gamecocks are 14-point favorites in college football lines with a total of 47. College football betting line odds on Thursday also have Ohio State favored by 29 points against Marshall, Iowa State favored by three points over Northern Illinois, Utah a three-point favorite over Pittsburgh and USC a 19-point favorite against Hawaii. The added games have Middle Tennessee State favored by 4.5 points against Minnesota and UAB a 12.5 point favorite against Florida Atlantic. On Friday it is Arizona a 14.5 point favorite vs. Toledo.

The action on Saturday starts with Michigan State a 21-point home favorite against Western Michigan.  Florida gets the ESPN spotlight as they are a 35-point home favorite against Miami of Ohio.  Missouri is a 13.5-point favorite vs. Illinois in a game that can be seen on FSN. Colorado is laying 13 points vs. Colorado State.  Northwestern is a 3-point favorite at Vanderbilt while Mississippi State is laying 20.5 points at home to Memphis.  ESPN has the Texas-Rice game with Texas being a 29-point favorite. Notre Dame is a 10.5 point favorite against Purdue in a game that can be seen on NBC.  Michigan is laying 3 points to Connecticut in an ABC televised game. Kentucky is a three-point favorite vs. Louisville and UCLA is laying 2.5 point favorite vs. Kansas State in other ABC games.  Oregon is laying 34 points at home vs. New Mexico, Akron is laying 8 points at Akron, BYU is a 3-point home favorite vs. Washington, Oklahoma State is laying 14.5 points at home to Washington State, Alabama is laying 39.5 points at home to San Jose State, Oklahoma is a 31-point favorite at home vs. Utah State and Army is laying 8.5 points at Eastern Michigan.

The evening ESPN game has TCU laying 13 points to Oregon State in college football lines.  The ABC game has LSU a 1.5 point favorite over North Carolina.  The ESPN 2 game has Fresno State a 1.5 point favorite vs. Cincinnati while Wisconsin is a 19.5 point favorite over UNLV on Versus.

The added games have Georgia a 28-point favorite vs. UL Lafayette, Nebraska laying 35 points to Western Kentucky, Clemson -22 vs. North Texas, Troy -14 vs. Bowling Green and Auburn -30 vs. Arkansas.

Sunday it is Tulsa laying 7 points vs. East Carolina on ESPN 2 and Texas Tech -12.5 vs. SMU on ESPN.  Monday it is Navy -6.5 vs. Maryland on ESPN and Boise State -2.5 vs. Virginia Tech, also on ESPN.
