College Football Betting Line – Nebraska Heavily Favored to Stomp Western Kentucky

There is not much doubt about who the bettors are going to take against the college football betting line when Western Kentucky plays Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are a top 10 team and Western Kentucky is nobody.  Bettors are going to lay the wood with Nebraska in college football lines and hope they cover the number on Saturday. The Cornhuskers are 37.5 point favorites at the Sbg sportsbook. Nebraska is ranked eighth in the country and they should roll over Western Kentucky. The question is whether they can win by enough to cover a nearly 40-point spread.

Western Kentucky is Overmatched – Western Kentucky has not won a game in a long, long time. They come into this game on a 20-game losing streak. Make it 21 losses in a row when this is game is over.

Nebraska does have some questions, particularly at quarterback but in this game it doesn’t really matter.  The Cornhuskers are looking at either Zac Lee who is the returning starter or redshirt freshman Taylor Martinez or possibly even sophomore Cody Green. The running game has no issues as Roy Helu Jr. returns.  He is likely to have a huge day against Western Kentucky.

Western Kentucky may not Score – The Hilltoppers will be facing a defense that was the best in the country a year ago. Seven starters return including junior tackle Jared Crick and senior cornerback Prince Amukamara.  The Cornhuskers should have little trouble stopping Western Kentucky’s offense.

Western Kentucky is saying all the right things about how they expect to be better and that they expect to win a game this season. It is not going to come on Saturday at Nebraska.  Western Kentucky has dropped lost 26 of its last 27 games to FBS teams and they are 0-6 against ranked teams since 2004.  Gamblers are either going to take Nebraska against the college football lines or not play the game.
