College Football Odds – Troy at Middle Tennessee on Tuesday Night

The month of October has arrived and ESPN and ESPN 2 are making sure that we have more college football odds available.

Tuesday night it will be Troy at Middle Tennessee State in what could be a very entertaining game.  Middle Tennessee should get the bulk of the attention in college football betting lines, especially since the Blue Raiders get quarterback Dwight Dasher back in the lineup. This game on Tuesday night will be shown on ESPN 2 so that means extra attention on a game that normally would attract little interest at the Sbg sportsbook.  What makes this game worth watching is the return of Dwight Dasher for Middle Tennessee. He sat out the first four games of the season but he is back for the Blue Raiders.

Troy the Defending Champs – Troy is the four-time defending Sun Belt champs but if they want to win the title again they probably need to win this game on the road.  Troy has won the games they were supposed to win and lost their two tough games to put them at 2-2.  What we do know about Troy is that they play high scoring games.

Score, Score, Score – In Troy’s first four games the scores have been 35-28, 34-33, 41-38 and 30-27.  The Trojans can score but they give up just as many points as they put up. The last five Troy games on the road have gone over the total.  11 of the last 16 Middle Tennessee home games have gone under the college football betting lines.

Throw Out Previous Middle Tennessee Results – You really have to simply throw out the first four games for Middle Tennessee.  The Blue Raiders are simply a different team with Dasher at quarterback.  Their offense was up and down without him but with him returning look for them to put up points on a regular basis.

Tuesday Betting Stats – The Trojans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games. The Trojans are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games in October. The Trojans are 21-7 ATS in their last 28 conference games. The Blue Raiders are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 conference games. The Blue Raiders are 8-3 against the college football odds in their last 11 games overall.
