Famous Toastery Bowl Format
The Bahamas Bowl (now the Famous Toastery Bowl) began in 2014. Concurrently it has tie-ins with Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference. The game has the historic significance of being the first bowl to be played outside the United States and Canada between two U.S. teams since 1937. Specifically, that was the Bacardi Bowl in Havana, Cuba.
This bowl is normally held at Thomas Robinson Stadium in the capital of Nassau. While the venue is mostly used for soccer matches, it can be expanded to accommodate 23,000 fans for football games.
