2023 Colorado Buffaloes Preview

Once upon a time, the Colorado Buffaloes were once a national power. Colorado was a regular national contender in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Head coach Bill McCartney led the Buffs to the 1990 national championship. And through the early 2000s, the Buffs were usually in the hunt for conference championships. From 1989 through 1996, the Buffs finished in the national top 20 each season. And they were top-8 or better five times.
