NCAA Football Betting – USC at Washington State

NCAA football betting handicappers may know that the USC Trojans are undefeated but they also know that The Men of Troy are damaged goods. USC has also been dissed by the polls as they have been written out of the top 25 as they prepare to face the Washington Huskies on Saturday.  Kickoff is set for 3:05 PM and the game can be seen on FSN.  SBG opened with USC as a 22-point road f favorite and with an over under of 56.

Drowning Gamblers in Red Ink
USC has been the ultimate overlay since last season with a mark of 5-11 against the spread including 1-2 versus the line this year.  The Trojans are living off their past reputation with the general gambling public as a “name brand” team that currently offers a lot more history and “bling” than actual substantive results.  The Trojans finally got the money last week in a listless 32-21 win at Minnesota in which they were favored by 10.5-points.    USC is now 4-10 against the spread as a road chalk since 2008.

Half Monte
Head coach Lane Kiffin is doing all that he can to irritate and frustrate gamblers making a College football bet on Troy with his bizarre attitude and numerous two-point conversion attempts that seem to come out of nowhere and get little in terms of results as they are 2-7 on two-pointers this year.  USC also emulates their coach with 31 penalties, ranking 117th out of 120 teams in that category.  Lane’s father Monte, a well respected defensive guru, is having trouble whipping the unit into shape as it ranks a shocking 91st in the country for yards allowed and a stunning 71st for points permitted.  How the mighty have fallen!

Wulff Can’t Dig Out
Paul Wulff is in his third season at the helm of Washington State and is 4-24 on the job.  With 15 starters back led by sophomore quarterback Jeff Tuel it is his program and it’s regressing under his watch.  Washington State has a NCAA football betting record of 1-2 both straight up and against the spread with all 3 games going over the total.  The Cougars rank 94th in scoring offense and 113th in points allowed.

Trends
USC has gotten the money in 5 out of their last 7 games against WSU with the last 7 meetings at WSU going over the total.
