With the NCAA FB regular season beginning next week, we think it’s time to preview and predict who will win the individual Power Five conferences in this 2015-16 seasons.
We start with the SEC (South Eastern Conference) and the East Division which we predict will be won by the Bulldogs of Georgia 10-2, Volunteers of Tennessee 8-4, and Tigers of Missouri at 8-4, the Gators of Florida at 7-5, Wildcats of Kentucky at 6-6 and the Commodores of Vanderbilt finish last at 3-9.
In the West Division of the SEC the Auburn Tigers take the title with the Crimson Tide of Alabama at 10-2 and the Rebels of Ole Miss and the Aggies of Texas A&M tied at 9-3, the Razorbacks of Arkansas and the Tigers of LSU tied at 8-4 and the Bulldogs of Mississippi State are last at 7-3.
The prediction is that Auburn beats Alabama in the Iron Bowl to win that title, and then beat Georgia to win the SEC Championship.
Moving on to the Pac-12 Conference and starting with the North Division which will be won by the Ducks of Oregon at 10-2 followed by the Cardinals of Stanford at 9-3, the Bears of California and the Huskies of Washington tied at 6-6, the Cougars of Washington State and the Beavers of Oregon State at 3-9.
For the South Division of the Pac-12 the winner will be the Trojans of USC at 10-2, followed by the Sun Devils of Arizona State, the Bruins of UCLA and the Wildcats of Arizona tied at 8-4, the Utes of Utah at 7-5 and the Buffaloes of Colorado at 5-8.
In the Big Ten and the NCAA East Conference the Buckeyes of Ohio State win the East Conference with a 12-0 season, the Spartans of Michigan State follow at 10-2, the Wolverines of Michigan and the Nittany Lions of Penn State tie at 7- 5, the Terrapins of Maryland at 5-7, the Hoosiers of Indian at 6-6 and the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers finish at 5-7.
In the NCAA West Conference of the Big Ten the Badgers of Wisconsin take the title followed by the Golden Gophers of Minnesota and Cornhuskers of Nebraska tied at 7-5, the Cyclones of Iowa at 7-5, the Wildcats of Northwestern at 6-6 and the Boilermakers of Purdue finish at 3-9.
The Prediction that the Buckeyes of Ohio State will be the Badgers of Wisconsin for the Big Ten Title and head for the CFP games.
In the Big 12 Conference this season with 10 teams the Bears of Baylor take the Title, with Horned Frogs following at 10-2, the Sooners of Oklahoma at 9-3, the Cowboys of Oklahoma State at 8-4, the Longhorns of Texas and the Wildcats of Kansas State ties at 7-5, while the Mountaineers of West Virginia at 6-6, Red Raiders of Texas Tech at 5-7, the Cyclones of Iowa State at 3-9 and last the Jayhawks of Kansas at 2-10. This season the evident Champion is the Baylor Bears as the Horned Frogs of Texas Tech come up short.
Finally the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and starting with the NCAA Atlantic Division as the Tigers of Clemson and the Seminoles of FSU tie at 10-2, as Cardinals of Louisville, the Wolfpack of NC State tied at 8-4, the Eagles of Boston College at 4-8, the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest at 3-9, and the Orangemen of Syracuse at 2-10.
In the Coastal Division of the ACC the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech finish 1st at 10-2, while the Hokies of Virginia Tech finish at 9-3, the Panthers of Pittsburgh and the Blue Devils of Duke and the Tar Heels of North Carolina all tied at 8-4, then the Hurricanes of Miami at 5-7 and last the Cavaliers of Virginia at 3-9.
