NCAA Football – Baylor vs Oklahoma State

As we move along in the 2015 NCAA Football season and now into Week 12 we find the Big 12 rivals the AP No. 10 Bears of Baylor 8-1 (Big 12 at 5-1) playing at the undefeated AP No. 4 Cowboys of Oklahoma State 10-0 (Big 12 at 7-0) with the game being played at the Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma this coming Saturday the 21st of November 2015 and seen ESPN TV.

The early odds at SBG sportsbook for those that Bet on College Football the opening odds have the game at a pick-em -110 with the Over/under at 78 and -110 on the ML for either the Bears or the Cowboys. Yes the Bears of Baylor have come into the part of their season the put them up against 2 ranked Big 12 Rival teams, as they had their 1st loss at the hands of the Sooners of Oklahoma last week, and now they have to take on the No.4 undefeated Cowboys of Oklahoma State. Thus this is a game were both teams put a lot of importance for a victory this Saturday.

For the fans of the No. 10 Bear’s of Baylor 8-1, your team has to be missing their starting QBS. Russell who has been replaced by a freshman QB J. Stidham who was intercepted 2 times for the 1st time in his career the last game and the Bears defense struggled in that 44-34 loss to the Sooners.

Your QB Stidham against the Sooners passed for 258 yards and 2 TD’s and this week he will be the starting QB as their QB Russell is out for the remainder of the season with a injury to the neck. In this game the Bears may find it best to let their running back roam and lead the offense, since the Cowboys strength on defense ranks 3rd in the Big 12 on passing defense and on interceptions are 2nd.

If that Bears take that route then their RB S. Linwood should get a lot of action, since against the Sooner he had 104 yards rushing and this season Baylor has averaged some 309 yards each game and that is 1st in the Big 12! But that does not mean that QB Stidham will not use his receiver weapons to keep the Cowboys defense in an unbalanced mode. His duo of WR’s Coleman and Lee, with Coleman having 1,178 reception yards with 20 TD’s this season and Lee has 6 TD’s and receptions for 570 yards. This season the Bears are averaging some 357yards each came, and in their ultimate 10 road games they are with 9 wins and 1 loss straight up.

Now if you’re a fan of the undefeated No. 4 Cowboys of Oklahoma State 10-0 used their duo of QB’s to overcome the powerful offense of the Cyclones of Iowa State in their comeback victory 35-31. As the game moved into the 2nd half the Cowboys were trailing by 10 points. That’s when M. Rudolph and J. Walsh each had some good moments that helped to reduce the Iowa State lead and then move ahead on the scoreboard in the 4th quarter to win. Yes QB Rudolph passed for 328 yards on 24 completions and 1 TD, and QB Walsh passed for 1 TD and ran for 2 more TD’s for the game, as the Cowboys accumulated some 498 total yards in that game.

Things could be somewhat different for the Cowboys in this game with Baylor as they have a far stronger defense than the Cyclones had. Then for the Cowboys defense they need to make some changes in this game, as they have struggled against the run this season because they normally have allowed opponents only 148 yards per game, but against the Cyclones they allowed them to gain some 250 yards in that game. Plus their defense will have find means to limit the Baylor offense which has been scoring in their games this season at least 57.5 points per game.

The prediction for this game is that it will be a high scoring game as expected, but the Cowboys of Oklahoma State will win the battle as they beat the Bears of Baylor 45-38 and reaming undefeated at 11-0!
