NCAA Football Betting – Troy at Florida Atlantic on ESPN U

NCAA Football Betting – Troy at Florida Atlantic on ESPN U.  Troy will try and continue their dominance of Florida Atlantic when the teams meet in Saturday NCAA football betting. Troy is favored on the road in this game that can be seen on ESPN U.  Troy is a 4.5 point favorite and will likely get some attention from gamblers making a college football bet at Sbg global.

Troy 6-1 vs. Florida Atlantic
The Trojans have dominated this series winning six of the seven all-time meetings.    Last year it was Troy routing FAU by a score of 47-21.  Troy is already bowl eligible so they don’t need this game to make a bowl but they still may get it. FAU has been up and down this season but they have not played well in their last two games as they were blown out by Texas and Middle Tennessee.

Troy didn’t get going in their last game against Western Kentucky until the fourth quarter but they scored twice in the last 15 minutes to avoid the upset. Corey Robinson threw for 304 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Shawn Southward rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown. Troy is averaging almost 32 points per game this season. Troy needs to score a lot of points because their defense is rotten.  They are getting gouged on the ground but in this game that is not the strength of FAU.

Poor Betting Trends
You have to like Troy in this game until you look at the trends. They are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 conference games and they are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite. On top of that they are 1-6 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.  The Owls are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a home underdog but they are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 conference games and they are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.

Over the Total
This game sure looks like an over in NCAA football betting. The Over is 7-2 in the Trojans last 9 road games. FAU has gone under in their last seven home games though but they have no defense and Troy’s defense is awful too. In this series, four of the last five games have gone over.
