NCAA Odds on #2 FSU @ Wake Forrest. SBG Global has many clients who are avid NCAA football followers who like to make plays at the Online sportsbooks and if they are ready for an ACC matchup at 12:00pm this Saturday November 7th they will see the #2 Florida State SEMINOLES (8-0, 6-0 1st ACC Atlantic) visiting the Wake Forest DEMON DEACONS (4-5, 2-4 5th ACC Atlantic) with the game being played at the BB&T Field at 411 Deacon Blvd., Winston Salem, North Carolina 27105. The game will be televised on ABC as a regional game.
For the Bet on College football fan the Demon Deacons lost their last game to the Syracuse Orangemen 13-0 this past Saturday. The Syracuse team had an off week the previous week after losing to Georgia Tech on the Road 56-0 but apparently the Defense had recuperated as they held Wake Forest scoreless in the first half, then continued to shut them out and they were unable to score themselves in the second half of the game. It was strange that both teams in the first quarter were unable to make third down conversions on some nine different attempts. Wake Forest also came close to beating the Hurricanes the week before as they were on the verge of upsetting Miami but the Hurricanes RB Johnson scored a TD with 53 seconds left in the game to go ahead of the Deacons 24-21 and win the game.
For FSU their previous game was with the ranked #7 Miami Hurricanes at the time, and they beat Miami 41-14 in a game between two teams from the ACC that were undefeated. The Noles blew past the Hurricanes as QB Winston passed for some 325 yards in total and in the 3rd quarter scored 20 points after both teams were penalized for personal fouls. Naturally this was an emotional game for both teams. FSU kept its National Championship hopes alive, and with Oregon idol for that weekend, this week the Seminoles was moved again up to #2 by the BCS Rankings. Whether they remain there will be depended on if #3 Oregon this week can stay undefeated also and beat #7 Stanford who is also undefeated and the play on Thursday night prior to this game. For the Seminoles to stay undefeated they must win this game with Wake Forest, beat Syracuse(4-4) and Idaho (1-8) in Tallahasse and finish with the Florida Gators (4-4) in Gainesville, always a state rivalry game.
So at SBG Global the opening line had the FSU Seminoles at -35 which gives the Wake Forest team going up against the present BCS # 2 team some concern even though the game is on their home field. Should be interesting since FSU is determined on holding their ground in the BCS rankings so they will be seeking a big score! Good Luck Demon Deacons and Seminoles!
