NCAA Online Betting – 8th Ranked Nebraska Heavily Favored vs. Idaho

Most gamblers are probably going to take 8th-ranked Nebraska in NCAA online betting on Saturday as they host Idaho but laying four touchdowns against a team that can score is risky. The Cornhuskers are 28.5 point favorites in college football betting at the Sbg sportsbook.

Nebraska rolled over Western Kentucky last week by a score of 49-10. While that scores looks impressive, the Cornhuskers were laying 39 points so they really didn’t do anything unexpected.  It could be more difficult on Saturday against an underrated Idaho squad. Idaho rolled over North Dakota 45-0 in their opener but that tells us nothing considering North Dakota is not even a Division 1 football team. Idaho was a winning team last year as they went 8-5 and they even won a bowl game as they beat Bowling Green.

Homecoming for Enderle – This will be homecoming for Idaho quarterback Nathan Enderle who is from Nebraska. He completed 23 of 37 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown last week.  He was recruited by Nebraska but committed to Idaho. This will be his fourth year as Idaho’s starting quarterback. He was very good last year as he ranked fifth in the country in passing efficiency.

Scoring – The Vandals should be able to score but they won’t stop Nebraska.  Idaho’s defense last year was terrible and their shutout in Week 1 against North Dakota means nothing.  Idaho has lost 20 straight games against teams from BCS conferences and they have lost those games by almost 30 points per game. Nebraska has a very good quarterback in Taylor Martinez who should rip apart the Idaho defense.  He rushed for 127 yards on seven carries and passed for 136 yards last week vs. Western Kentucky.

NCAA Online Betting Wagers – You can make a case for either side in this game.  Idaho should be able to score and whenever a team is getting this many points they can always get the backdoor cover.  You can make a case for Nebraska though because they are going to score almost at will against a rotten Idaho defense.  The best option might just be to play the game over the total.  This game could easily end up with 70 points or more between the two teams.
