Oregon State and NCAA Online Betting

The Pac-10 is wide open this season with a number of teams that could win the title in NCAA online betting including Oregon State. The Beavers return some talent on offense led by running back Jacquizz Rodgers.  The Beavers open up the college football betting season with a tough game against TCU in Arlington on Saturday, September 4th.

NCAA online betting lists TCU as a 13-point favorite against Oregon State in the opener.  The Beavers will have their work cut out for them in that contest.  Oregon State has one of the toughest opening schedules of any team in the country as they have to go to Boise State on September 25th following a home game vs. Louisville.  Oregon State may start the season 1-2 but those games are all out of conference.

Oregon State’s toughest conference games look to be in Seattle against Washington and a road game at Stanford. The Beavers will host California and USC this season in addition to Oregon.  The Beavers must replace starting quarterback Sean Canfield but they have a lot of offensive talent with Jacquizz and James Rodgers. The new quarterback is Ryan Katz and if he plays well then the Beavers could win the Pac-10. The conference is not dominated any longer by USC and Oregon is actually the favorite to win the Pac-10 this season.  Oregon State could definitely be a factor this year.

The defense could be pretty good for the Beavers this season. They have two strong linebackers in Keith Pankey and Dwight Roberson and they have a great defensive tackle in Scott Paea.  The secondary was just 84th in the country last season against the pass but they should be much better this season. The team also returns Justin Kahut who hit 22 of 27 field goals last season and was very consistent.

Oregon State could finish anywhere from first to seventh this season.  The Pac-10 is so wide open that anything is possible.  The Beavers face very difficult games against TCU and Boise State early in the season but Oregon State could upset the BCS picture by shocking one of those two teams. Even if they don’t win one of those two, Oregon State will be a factor in the Pac-10 race this year.
