For much of the last two weeks, Mississippi Rebels have been projected outside of the New Year’s Six field. Correlate, they were usually paired with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Citrus Bowl. Peach Bowl Format

Founded in 1968, the Peach Bowl was originally played at Grant Field on the Campus of Georgia Tech. Starting in 1971, the Peach Bowl was moved to the former Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. And then, from 1993 through 2016, the Peach Bowl was played at the Georgia Dome. It has been played in Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta since 2017.

Chick-fil-A has been the title sponsor since 1997. Since 2014, the Peach Bowl has been part of the New Year’s Six and the College Football Playoff rotation. The Peach Bowl has tie-ins with the SEC and ACC.
