SEC Fatigue has never been greater in the college football community. Yet the same two SEC teams from last year are favored this year. 2021 runner-up Alabama and defending national champion Georgia are the top picks to win the natty in 2022. Following the SEC Big Two are Ohio State and Clemson. Of course, the Buckeyes and Tigers are College Football Playoff regulars. Both missed the College Football betting playoff in 2021 and will be motivated to get back on top. College Football owns the greatest regular season in sports. But its lack of parity damages the postseason.

College Football Alabama Crimson Tide
Naturally, It comes as no surprise that Alabama is the favorite. Under head coach Nick Saban, Bama owns six national titles and seven College Football Playoff appearances. Alabama consistently ranks at the top of the national recruiting rankings. Of great concern, this season was the subpar offensive line play. Rest assured, Nick Saban will address that in the offseason. On the positive, Heisman Trophy Winner Bryce Young returns at quarterback.
Georgia Bulldogs
Since he arrived at Georgia in 2015, head coach Kirby Smart has been a recruiting machine. UGA’s roster is multi-deep at every position. Yet a walk-on quarterback, Stetson Bennett, led the Bulldogs to the national championship. Bennett has the option to return. But Smart may want to go with one of his talented 5-star recruits instead. Regardless, Georgia will likely be even better in 2022. UGA’s roster and Smart’s coaching make them bona fide online betting favorites.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Last year was as close to disaster as can be experienced by Ohio State. The Buckeyes were annihilated by hated arch-rival Michigan. Thus, Ohio State had to “settle” for the consolation prize of the Rose Bowl. Ryan Day will be entering his fourth year as OSU head coach. Subsequently, the 2022 team will be more of his recruits than predecessor Urban Meyer. By all accounts, Day has equaled, if not surpassed, Meyer. Ohio State will be dedicating 2022 to redemption and a revenge tour.
Clemson Tigers
Head coach Dabo Swinney had his most disappointing season at Clemson. Following an appearance in six consecutive College Football Playoffs and two national championships, Clemson went 10-3. Most coaches will kill for such a “down” year. Swinney will have a new offensive and defensive coordinator in 2022. In turn, although inhouse promotions, the new blood should freshen things up for a loaded roster. The big question for 2022 is if DJ Uiagalelei will remain as starting quarterback.
Oklahoma Sooners
No college football program has had more chaos and upheaval than Oklahoma. Head coach Lincoln Riley bolted for the USC job. OU’s top two quarterbacks hit the transfer portal. And many recruits and other players on the roster are following Riley to USC. New head coach Brent Venables is playing catchup. But Oklahoma epitomizes a traditional power with elite culture. Fashion how Oklahoma remains an elite top-ranked College Football Betting recruiter.
