Week 7 Seminoles of FSU at Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech

The 2015-16 NCAA Football season now moves on into Week 8 and in the Atlantic Coast Conference on Saturday the 24th of October 2015 we have to conference rivals playing with the Seminoles of FSU 6-0 (Atlantic Division 4-0) playing at the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech 2-5 (Coastal Division 0-4) with the game being played at the Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia with the kick-off scheduled for 7:35 PM ET with no early odds available at this writing.

The Seminoles are undefeated and getting in stride as RB Cook is blazing the record books, and QB Golson appears to be getting in the groove of the scheme of things at FSU. On the other side of the field the Yellow Jackets who played FSU in 2014 for the ACC Title are struggling this season, but the history tells us that they always come forth with a good game against the Seminoles, and they would love to upset FSU and dim their hopes of the playoffs for College Football.

If you Bet on College football at SBG Global or other betting sites and are a fan of the Seminoles of the 6-0 Florida State University, your team this past Saturday at home had a great win over the Cardinals Louisville 41-21 also of the ACC.

In the game the Seminoles RB D. Cook continued his rushing chores as the rushed for 2 touchdowns and 163 yard rushing in total for the game. More, surprising was the fact that their QB E. Golson passed for 3 touchdowns and 372 yards passing and to date in the season has not thrown an interception. QB Golson has improved on a weekly basin and is getting very comfortable with the Seminole offense. In his ultimate 4 games he has added more completions and more yardages passing in each of those games, and he could be the key to opening the FSU’s offense to its real potential this season.

In this game against the Yellow Jackets, the FSU QB Golson should be able to continue moving forward in the statistics as the defense of Georgia Tech has had difficulty stopping any of the teams they played this season. For RB Cook he is adding to the school statistics as he is averaging some 159 yards rushing each game and in his 2 games of late, he has rushed for 4 touchdowns and had 1 TD on a reception. He should easily increase those stats against the Yellow Jacket defense that has allowed opponents to some 179 yards rushing each game and 15 touchdowns via the rush.

Fans of the 2-5 Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech your team seems to be getting worse each week, and you wonder how that’s possible, but remember they just lost their 5th consecutive game with 31-28 loss at home to Pittsburgh. They won their 1st 2 games, and covered the spread in both.

In the game with Pittsburgh they rushed for 377 yards which was impressive, but their defense also could not stop the running game of Pitt as they allowed them some 200 yards in the game. They have also in their 5 losses have allowed opponents to score some 30 points in each game. Plus their triple-option offense that used to be their thing is disappointing as it has only averaged 25 points per game.

That’s not a lot that can be said that is promising in this game for the Yellow Jackets, except that history tells us that it is on the side of Georgia Tech who since 1999 has had 9 games with FSU and the Yellow Jackets are 8-1 against the spread when playing the Seminoles.

The sportsbook prediction for this ACC rivalry game is that FSU’s RB Cook will blaze the stadium as the Seminole roll past the Yellow Jackets with the final score being FSU 38 and Georgia Tech 24!
