2022 NFL Week 5 Schedule & Super Bowl Championship Odds

At the onset of week 5 is one of the most interesting Thursday night matchups of the 2022 season. Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos will host Matt Ryan and the Indianapolis Colts. It could be an NFL betting odds Playoff preview. Denver believes that Wilson is the missing piece to their playoff puzzle. Further, the Broncos have fielded a solid defense for the past few seasons. But they lacked a credible quarterback since Peyton Manning retired. Also, Denver has a new head coach with its imported quarterback.

Broncos Debut New Coach

Namely, Nathaniel Hackett arrives at Denver after coordinating the offenses of the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Green Bay Packers. For the past three seasons in Green Bay, the Packers put up some of their best offensive numbers in history. Of course, it helped that Hackett had Aaron Rodgers under center. Now he has the challenge and opportunity to design a different type of offense with the dual-threat Russell Wilson.

Indianapolis has imported former Atlanta Falcons All-Pro quarterback Matt Ryan. Last year the Colts brought in Carson Wentz, much to their eventual regret. Needing only one win in their final two games to make the postseason, Wentz and the Colts choked. The fact that Wentz could not close the playoff sale could not and should not be forgiven. By contrast, Matt Ryan brings instant sports betting credibility to the position for Indianapolis.

One of the weekend’s best games is between the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams and the visiting Dallas Cowboys. There will be plenty of offensive weaponry on the field in a matchup that could be a Pro football-betting odds playoff preview. Dallas showed marked improvement last year on both sides of the line.

And then ESPN Monday Night Football gets another fantastic matchup. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders were born as charter members of the American Football League in 1960. And they have played in the AFC West division ever since. Once upon a time, the Raiders and Chiefs had one of the greatest rivalries in sports history.

Raiders New head Coach, Josh McDaniels

The Raiders have a new head coach, Josh McDaniels. Correlate that McDaniels gets his second NFL head-coaching shot. Previously he flopped a decade ago with the Denver Broncos.

McDaniels is best known as the longtime offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots. He inherits a ready-made playoff team led by quarterback Derek Carr. Also, Carr must be thrilled with the arrival of wide receiver Davante Adams from the Green Bay Packers.

Of course, the Chiefs are led by the All-Pro tandem of quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce. The Chiefs blew their opportunity for a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance last January.
