Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season will begin with the Thursday night Prime Video matchup of the Denver Broncos at the New Orleans Saints. Certainly, the game is a great example of the over-saturation of NFL prime-time TV packages. The Broncos and Saints are an odd NFL odds pair, even when considering they are an interconference matchup. The game marks the return of Denver head coach Sean Payton to New Orleans, where he led the Saints to a Super Bowl championship and made the franchise a perennial title contender.

NFL Week 7 Schedule Overview
Sean Payton is excited to be rid of the washed-up fading star Russell Wilson. Last year, Payton inherited Wilson upon taking over as the Broncos coach. First-round draft pick Bo Nix arrives from Oregon to become a second-generation Drew Brees. Nix has a similar build and style to Brees. Thus, the online betting comparisons. New Orleans head coach Dennis Allen was Payton’s defensive coordinator. Now he will try and prevent his former boss from being the conquering hero.
In the late Sunday afternoon window, the San Francisco 49ers will host the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl. In like manner to four years prior, the Chiefs rallied from a near-death experience to beat the 49ers. Last February, KC won in overtime for a gut-wrenching San Francisco NFL betting odds defeat. Both teams are favored to meet again on Super Sunday. Certainly, the 49ers home faithful will be out for blood. And San Francisco QB Brock Purdy will want to beat Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes was considered the difference in the matchup.
NBC Sunday Night Football has an attractive matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the New York Jets. In a similar way to other big NFL matchups, the storyline focus will be on quarterbacks. Namely, Aaron Rodgers of the Jets and Russell Wilson of the Jets.
Following a flameout at Seattle and failure with Denver, there are still NFL coaches who believe in Russell Wilson. Wilson arrives as the ultimate Hail Mary for a Pittsburgh franchise that gave up on favorite son Kenny Pickett after just two years. To show, Wilson will try and bridge the gap for a year or two until recently arrived Justin Fields takes over as the starter. The Chicago Bears gave up on Fields after taking him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
