Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Bet on Football

Bet on football slightly favors Atlanta Falcons on Sunday as they play at Carolina. The Falcons are 5-3 on the season while the Panthers are 3-5. It is a key NFL betting game for both teams since a win keeps Atlanta in good shape in the playoff race while a win would give Carolina hope they can turn their season around. Bet on football has seen the Panthers really struggle this season for the most part. The Panthers can run the ball and impact NFL betting odds but they have some other issues. Quarterback Jake Delhomme has been terrible for the most part this season and he continues to turn the ball over. The defense for Carolina has good numbers in terms of total yards allowed but they are continually put in bad position by the offense.  For Carolina to win games they need to run the ball well and not turn it over.

Atlanta has an even better NFL betting pointspread record at 6-2 than their straight up record. The Falcons are almost always in games as they are well coached.  Atlanta Falcons has an efficient quarterback in Matt Ryan and a solid running game led by Michael Turner.  Atlanta’s defense has also been solid as they rank near the Top 10 in fewest points allowed.

Those that bet on football will notice that the Falcons have won their last four games against the spread when laying points.  Atlanta has been solid in NFL betting in the month of November of late, winning their last four.  Atlanta is a very good team to bet on football with when they play on grass. They are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 games on grass and 15-7-4 ATS in their last 26 meetings against Carolina.

Carolina has been pretty good within the division lately. They are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. the NFC South.  Carolina has not been a good home underdog in bet on football odds. The Panthers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as a home underdog.

Atlanta has been going under the total when laying points on the road in bet on football betting. The last six games in that situation for the Falcons have gone under the bet on football total. Four of the last five overall though have gone over the total.  Four of the last five Carolina home games have gone under the bet on football total.  12 of the last 14 meetings between Atlanta and Carolina have gone under the total.
