Moving on to the NFL 2015-16 Regular Season and Week # 4 we have a preview of the Falcons of Atlanta playing at the Cowboys of Dallas on Sunday the 27th of September with the game being played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas with the game scheduled for kick-off at 1 PM ET and can be seen on FOX TV.
The Cowboys start their season with 2 consecutive seasons, but now their future is questionable with the loss of 2 key players for several weeks. WR D. Bryant is out with a foot injury and QB T. Romo with a collar bone injury. Then they have to play the visiting Falcons of Atlanta who are also 2-0 in this 3rd game of the 2015 season.
If you are a NFL fan and Bet on NFL at SBG Global or similar online sites, and are a fan of the Falcons of Atlanta, your Falcons as the overcame the Giants of New York to win 24-20. Certainly they are pleased they had WR J. Jones who demonstrated he’s worth his new contract of some $80 + million, as he had 13 receptions for some 136 yards, and that tied former TE Gonzalez’s previous record of 3 years past.
Not only was WR Jones outstanding but also QB M. Ryan who completed 30 of his 46 pass attempts for some 364 yards with 1 TD and without an interception in the game. Amazingly in the 4th quarter of the game the 30 year old QB Ryan connected on 9 of his 13 pass attempts, with the final completion to WR Jones for 37 yards that set up the game winning TD with only 1:12 left in the final quarter of the game. The Falcons are aware of the injuries to Cowboys WR Bryant and QB Romo, but they also have a loss as RB T. Coleman left their last game with a rib injury. If he does not play the Falcons will be passing the ball somewhat more often.
To date the Falcons offense is ranked 5th from 2014 with some 285 passing yards per game, and in the 1st 2 games this season they are averaging some 317 yards and presently that ranks 3rd in the NFL. On defense the Falcons will look to LB J. Durant and Safety W. Moore who have combined for some 35 tackles in the 1st 2 games of the 2015 season. The Falcons previously in their last 5 road games have won 4 and lost 1.
For the fans who would bet on their Cowboys of Dallas, your teams first 2 wins of the season have been costly, as in the 1st game with the Giants they lost WR D. Bryant to injury, and then in their last game they have lost QB Romo to injury after beating the Eagle in the 2nd week 20-10.
At least your Cowboys got off to a 2-0 start in this 2015 season, and somehow they would like to continue moving in the winning direction, and seek to defend their 2014 division title and to make a 2nd consecutive postseason playoff spot. However, from here forward seems to be difficult, especially with 2 of their stars on the sideline with injuries, and the time span for those injuries is questionable.
Now there back-up QB B. Weeden has a great opportunity as he becomes the starting QB in this game against the Falcons of Atlanta this Sunday. In his relief time last Sunday for the injured Romo, QB Weeden fared well as he completed his 7 pass attempts and a TD for the Cowboys 2nd win of this season against the rival Eagles. Offensively the Cowboys will need receivers T. Williams and C. Beasley to have continued good games as receivers. Williams has 1 TD on 9 receptions for 145 yards, while Beasley has 8 receptions for 65 yards. On the Cowboys defense, the Falcons will struggle to break into the secondary of Dallas that to date has held opponents to fewer than 300 yards per game, while allowing a mere 202.5 yard passing in the game which ranks presently 1st in the NFL. In the ultimate 10 games when the Cowboys have been the underdogs they have won 6 and lost 4 games straight up.
The prediction for this game is that for the 2nd week Falcons QB Ryan and WR J. Jones will steal the show and beat the Cowboys 24-17 this Sunday the 27th of September 2015.
