This year the Bengals will find the going much more challenging. Cincinnati will not catch anyone napping in 2022. The surprise element that the Bengals enjoyed in 2021 is gone. Further, there is the NFL betting odds stock market theory. Cincinnati had a meteoric rise out of nowhere in 2021. Thus, some gamblers see a market correction for the Bengals in 2022. Week 4 kicks off from Cincinnati, where the Bengals will host the Miami Dolphins on Prime Video. Cincinnati has a lot to prove in 2022 after ambushing the entire AFC with a longshot championship.

Tumultuous Dolphins Seek to Emulate Bengals 2021 Surprise Season
The Miami Dolphins continue to be one of the most mismanaged teams in the NFL. Owner Stephen Ross rates with Cleveland Browns’ boss Jimmy Haslam as among the worst in the NFL.
Head coach Brian Flores was one of the most successful coaches in recent Dolphins history. So, of course, Flores was fired. But the firing blew up in the face of Ross and the Dolphins. Flores made charges of racial bias against Miami. And then he threw the Molotov cocktail claiming that Ross offered to pay him to lose games to gain draft position deliberately.
New head coach Mike McDaniel arrives from the San Francisco 49ers, where he was the offensive coordinator in 2021. It was his only season as an OC in his 17-year career as an NFL assistant. Now, McDaniel is charged with getting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa up to speed.
Tua is best known as the national championship-winning quarterback of the Alabama Crimson Tide, where he set numerous passing records. Tua was the fifth overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. His arrival at South Beach created tremendous excitement and ticket sales. However, Tua has had a long history of injury problems. Last year he missed five starts.
Playoff Preview from Baltimore?
CBS gets a potential AFC offshore bookmaker playoff preview with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Buffalo Bills in the early Sunday window. Consider that Buffalo and Baltimore have been two of the best teams in the AFC. But Baltimore dropped what seemed to be a certain 2021 AFC playoff berth in hand with a collapse that disgusted their fans. As a result, the Ravens are determined to redeem themselves with a strong 2022 comeback campaign. Of course, the Bills believe they are a Super Bowl contender.
Sunday Night Superstar Showdown and Potential Super Bowl Preview
NBC Sunday Night Football features one of the best possible quarterback matchups of the year. To show, Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City does have a redemption angle in their favor after getting slaughtered at Tampa Bay last year 31-9. Also, the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to Tampa Bay in February 2021. Both teams are again picked as favorites for an appearance in the Super Bowl.
Monday Night West Coast Rivalry Renewal
ESPN Monday Night Football gets enhanced credibility with the new powerhouse announcing tandem of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Also, they get a much better Pro football betting odds schedule than the past few seasons. As an example, the San Francisco 49ers will host the Los Angeles Rams. It is a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship Game.
