Browns Fire GM NFL Betting Odds

NFL betting odds on the Cleveland Browns have not seen them win many games this season. The lack of success both straight up and versus the NFL betting odds has cost general manager George Kokinis his job. The Browns fired the GM this week after another bad NFL lines loss by the team. NFL betting odds have seen the Browns go 1-7 straight up and 3-5 against the NFL lines this season.  Cleveland has done nothing this year to get anyone excited about taking them in NFL betting odds.

Head coach Eric Mangini may be next as NFL betting odds had it, although the Cleveland owner has said that Mangini won’t be fired for now. “Anytime a decision like this is made it is difficult personally and professionally,” Mangini said. “George is a friend of mine and I respect him and I wish his family well. I can tell you that for a variety of reasons things didn’t work out. You never go into a situation like this with the intention of it not working out. We felt that, organizationally, this was the best decision in order to move forward.”

One of the people mentioned as coming into Cleveland as NFL betting odds indicated is Ernie Accorsi who used to be the general manager of the New York Giants.  Accorsi has a good relationship with Bernie Kosar who the Browns would like to get more involved. “The highest priority that I have is a strong, credible, serious leader within the building to guide decisions in a far more conspicuous, open transparent way,” Cleveland owner Randy Lerner said to a local newspaper, “I can maybe defend decisions by saying I’ve sought advice and I’ve brought people in, and we’ve gone to see people — and I think my highest priority is to have a stable figure that represents the voice that explains the decisions.”

Cleveland has simply been pathetic in all phases of the game in NFL betting odds. They are next to last in the league in offense and dead last in defense as NFL lines stats show. It is surprising with those NFL betting odds numbers they have had any wins versus the NFL betting odds this season.  In fact, Cleveland has covered the NFL lines three times this season and that is surprising considering how bad they have been.  The spotlight is going to be on Cleveland next week in NFL betting odds since they host the Baltimore Ravens in Monday night football. The Browns will be big underdogs in NFL betting odds in that contest.
