The teams combined for a total of 19 penalties. Namely rookie quarterback Easton Stick saw plenty of action for LA. Stick posted a 46.8 QB rating going 7-11 for 78 yards with an interception. Counter to that was Tyrod Taylor (6-6, 72 YDS, 116.7 RTG). Also, Cardale Jones (4-6, 47 YDS, 90.3 RTG) saw action in the loss. LA head coach Anthony Lynn was particularly impressed with Taylor. Philip Rivers sat out.
