Chicago Bears at Minnesota Bet on Football

Bet on football heavily favors the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday as they host the Chicago Bears. The Vikings continue to dominate in NFL betting and they are a popular choice this week among those that bet on football. Bet on football has the Vikings as 10.5 point favorites at home as they host Chicago. The Bears are just not a team that those that bet on football want to back.  Chicago lost again last week 24-20 to Philadelphia in a game they had to win.  Jay Cutler missed open receivers all night and the Chicago Bears struggled to score touchdowns. “We had our chances, especially early, and we didn’t make the plays,” said tight end Greg Olsen. Cutler only threw one interception in the game against the Eagles but he still didn’t play well. The running game was poor again as Matt Forte had only 34 yards.

Chicago could struggle against a Minnesota team that looks like one of the best teams in the NFL. The Vikings rolled over Seattle last week in bet on football results.  The game was not close as Brett Favre threw touchdown passes to four different receivers. Favre completed 88% of his passes which set a Minnesota single-game record. The defense was also great for Minnesota as they held Seattle to a total of four rushing yards.

Chicago has been a team to avoid in NFL betting recently. The Bears are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. They have been poor within their division as well. The Bears are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. the NFC North. Chicago has not played well on the road either. The Bears are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games. Chicago is not a good underdog either in NFL betting. The Bears are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games as an underdog. Chicago is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings at Minnesota

Minnesota is 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. the NFC North.   The Vikings have not been an automatic play for those that bet on football.  Minnesota has a losing record at home against the bet on football pointspread. The Vikings are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. In this series against Chicago though, the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.

Ten of the last fourteen Chicago road games have gone under. Five of the last seven games between Minnesota and Chicago have gone over in NFL betting.
