Chiefs and Broncos Renew Ancient Hostilities

There is no reason to believe the Broncos are ready to unseat the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs. Indeed, Denver has a new head coach, Sean Payton. Payton won a Super Bowl as head coach of the New Orleans Saints and has one of the best head coaching records over the past generation. But Payton was suspended as Saints coach for running bounties. And that his only offshore betting Super Bowl appearance was 13 years ago.

Of course, Payton is an offensive mastermind and QB guru that rode the greatness of futures Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Denver does not boast Drew Brees. Instead, they have Russell Wilson, who looks well past his prime. Wilson was acquired one year ago with a hero’s welcome. But Wilson flopped miserably, alienated teammates, and had his commitment questioned.

Denver mortgaged its future for Wilson. Now the Broncos are on tilt. Thus, they needed a credible coach to try for an unlikely turnaround.

Bills and Big Blue Sunday Night

NBC Sunday Night Football is a potential Super Bowl Pro football betting odds preview. The Buffalo Bills will host the New York Giants. The G-Men will attempt to prove that their 2022 resurgence was no fluke. In like manner, Giants QB Daniel Jones has a new contract and better image following years of ridicule and doubt.

Buffalo QB Josh Allen could run for mayor and win in a landslide. But it is also true that the Bills failed to win the Super Bowl in the 2022 campaign they were picked to do so. Buffalo was exposed in their home playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Still, the Bills Mafia has nothing else to live for and will be in full force for this one.
