An online betting scheduling quirk will have the Colts playing nine games at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2023 but just seven games at their opponent’s home stadiums. The nine-game home slate is courtesy of the NFL’s unbalanced 17-game schedule. Including Kansas State cornerback Julius Brents, Northwestern defensive lineman Adetomiwa Adebawore and Miami tight end Will Mallory. Still, it will likely take a year or two before this class can significantly impact the win column. Since 1995 the Colts have been one of the most successful franchises in pro football. Indianapolis has missed the playoffs just nine times since then. Of course, much of that success was due to Peyton Manning, who led them to two Super Bowl appearances with one win.
