Last week was a great reminder of public overreaction. Dallas lost their first game and starting quarterback Dak Prescott. And did not look good in doing so. Hence, the betting public turned against the Cowboys. And gamblers bet the defending AFC champion Bengals up to Pro Football betting overlay chalk. So, sure enough, the Cowboys rallied to upset the Bengals in exciting fashion. Now the Cowboys look like they could survive until Prescott returns. But Monday’s game at the Giants looks difficult. New York is 2-0 and starting to believe. Rookie head coach Brian Daboll is changing the narrative.
