NFL betting favors Minnesota by 2.5 points on Sunday as they host the Dallas Cowboys in NFL playoff action. The Vikings had a bye last week while the Cowboys rolled over Philadelphia in football betting. This NFL betting game should be the most popular one of the four this weekend. NFL betting should be very exciting on this Sunday matchup which can be seen on Fox television. The Cowboys come into this football betting game playing as well as any team in the NFL. They routed the Philadelphia Eagles last week in the Wild Card round and overall they have won four straight.
“Just keep trying to get better and eventually things will go your way,” quarterback Tony Romo said. “Going out there and playing the way we have lately is very exciting. If we just keep going forward, we got a chance.” The Cowboys are playing great but they are still underdogs in NFL betting at Minnesota. “If we beat Minnesota, something special can happen here,” team owner Jerry Jones said. “I don’t know that we will, but there’s no reason why we can’t.” The Cowboys are winning with solid defense and a very efficient Tony Romo. The Dallas quarterback has six touchdowns and two interceptions over the last four games. Dallas has given up only 31 points in the last 16 quarters. “There’s no miraculous answer,” nose tackle Jay Ratliff said. “It’s just people doing their job and everybody playing together.”
Dallas will be tested in Minnesota by a Vikings team that didn’t lose at home all year. The Cowboys might have a chance to make the Super Bowl but winning in Minnesota is a challenge. “The critical thing is when (this team) got in tight situations, it would drop the ball or shy away. I think now we see that it won’t,” Jerry Jones said. “It has sound fundamentals and has substance and that it will compete. This stage isn’t too big for it.” Minnesota has won six of the last ten games against Dallas and they are 7-3 against the NFL betting odds. The teams last played in 2007 at Dallas and the Cowboys won 24-14 in football betting. The last time they played at the Metrodome was in 2004 when the Vikings won 35-17 in NFL betting. The Cowboys were 4-4 versus the NFL betting pointspread on the road this season. The Vikings were 5-2-1 at home versus the football betting odds.
