Dallas is known as “America’s Team” for a reason. Regardless of its positive or negative news, the Cowboys draw the most attention. Fans and gamblers can’t get enough of Dallas. “How ’bout them Cowboys!” That was the cynical sneer from Dallas haters and burned offshore betting losers in 2020. Mike McCarthy arrived with plenty of fanfare as the Super Bowl-winning coach of the 2010 Green Bay Packers. But McCarthy was fired a decade later for losing the team, quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and too many games. Last year, McCarthy had every kind of bad luck imaginable. Quarterback Dak Prescott missed nearly all of the campaign with an injury. Defensive, the Cowboys were rendered defenseless. Thus, McCarthy’s sloppy team failed to win a pathetic NFC “Least.”
Part of Mike McCarthy’s problem is the same that every previous Cowboys coach under Jerry Jones faced. Dallas’ owner is a master salesman and promoter. So good is Jones that he earned the coveted gold jacket as an NFL Hall of Fame inductee. Jones continues to manipulate a gullible public into thinking that the Cowboys are Super Bowl material. Last year Dallas was touted for having the best 2020 NFL Draft Class. This year the Cowboys are credited for taking six defensive players in the first six rounds. But veteran gamblers say, “We’ve heard it all before.”

At the onset of 2021 is the concern about third-year coach Vic Fangio. In his first two seasons on the job, Fangio’s Broncos have flopped out of the gate.
