Football Betting – Wild Card Weekend Preview. This year’s Wild Card weekend in football betting features one line of 10.5 points while the other three games are listed at a field goal or less.  Let’s take a look at all four games in NFL football betting and also consider some overall Wild Card numbers.

In the last three years the NFC favorites have cashed in nicely but in the AFC the dogs have been winning. Last year the underdogs in the AFC both won outright as the Jets and Ravens won. In fact, in the AFC, the favorites have lost four of the last six Wild Card games both straight up and against the spread.

New Orleans -10.5 at Seattle
The public is going to be all over the Saints in this game since the Seahawks finished a rotten 7-9 but still made the playoffs.   The teams met earlier this season and the Saints won 34-19.  There are some causes for concern though if you are betting New Orleans.  Although New Orleans was 6-2 on the road this season only two of those wins came by more than four points.  The Saints won by more than 10 points just four times all year.

Philadelphia -2.5 vs. Green Bay
This is also a rematch of an earlier contest this season that the Packers won 27-20. The Eagles nearly came back from 17 points down to win but fell a TD short.  Michael Vick is the key in this game. If he is healthy and plays well then the Eagles have a chance.  The Eagles really haven’t played that well in the past few games and bettors like the Packers plus the points in NFL football betting.

Indianapolis -2.5 vs. New York
This is a rematch of last year’s AFC title game.  The Colts dominated that game but Indianapolis looks nothing like a Super Bowl team this time around. The Colts have won four straight overall but they simply don’t look like a team that can win in the playoffs even with Peyton Manning.

Baltimore -3 at Kansas City
The Chiefs are underdogs in football betting at Sbg global.com and it is easy to see why as Baltimore finished with a better record and is a better team.  The Ravens have proven they can win on the road in tough locales like New York and Pittsburgh so they can definitely win at Arrowhead.
