Football Odds – Falcons Favored at Home vs. Green Bay. Saturday night in football odds it will be the Atlanta Falcons hosting the Green Bay Packers in NFL divisional playoff action. The Falcons are 2.5 point favorites in NFL betting linesat the Sbg global sportsbook with the total on the game listed at 43.5.

Ryan 18-1 at Home
Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan is 18-1 in his last 19 home games.  The Falcons beat Green Bay earlier this season in the Georgia Dome as Ryan completed 24 of 28 passes in a 20-17 win.  Atlanta won 13 games this season but they are not getting a lot of respect. This is a Falcon team that was fifth in the league in points scored and fifth in fewest points allowed, they are at home and yet they are laying less than a field goal.

Green Bay Warning Signs
It seems everyone believes that the Packers are going to go into Atlanta and win this week but there are some red flags.  Green Bay did win last week at Philadelphia but they scored just seven points in the second half and if Eagles quarterback Michael Vick had shown a little more patience the Packers might have lost.  Winning at Philadelphia is nice but only one team has won in Atlanta all season and Green Bay is not a great road team.

Strength vs. Strength
The Packers are 4-1-1 against the NFL betting lines in their last 6 Divisional Playoffs games.  Even though Green Bay was just 4-4 ATS on the road this season they are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games as a road underdog. Atlanta has been a very good favorite going 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a favorite. Atlanta was excellent at home this season and in their past ten games at home they are 7-3 ATS. In this series, Atlanta is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings.

Saturday’s Total
The total on this game is 43.5 which makes it the second highest behind only the Jets and Patriots number of 44.5 on Sunday.  Green Bay has been going under a lot, especially on the road.  8 of their last 9 road games have gone under the football odds including last week’s win at Philadelphia.  Atlanta has not been a team that goes under though as the Over is 7-2-2 in the Falcons last 11 games overall.
