Houston Texans at St. Louis Bet on Football

Bet on football favors the Houston Texas on Sunday as they travel to St. Louis to face the Rams. The Texans were very impressive last week in their NFL betting win over Seattle and they will try and get back to the .500 mark with a win at St. Louis. Bet on football had the Texans rolling over Seattle 34-7 last week and a similar result could happen in this game against the Rams. Quarterback Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson had great games last week and they figure to have success in this NFL betting contest against a weak St. Louis team. Johnson had a season-high 193 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the win. The Texans are still in the playoff hunt although they need to win their final three games and get some help. It may take that help to save head coach Gary Kubiak’s job. “There’s a lot of rumors and things that get said and you don’t want to see anybody lose their jobs,” Johnson said. Schaub threw for 365 yards in the win.

The Rams were simply pathetic last week in a 47-7 loss to Tennessee. The Rams couldn’t even get running back Steven Jackson going last week in the bet on football loss to the Titans as he had just 47 yards. The Rams were down to third string quarterback Keith Null last week and he was 27 of 43 for 157 yards. It was the seventh time this  Houston Texans season the Rams have been held to 10 points or less.

Houston has been a pretty good team to bet on football with in December as they are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games in the month. They have also been good on the road in NFL betting as they are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games.

There is not a lot to like about the Rams as you bet on football. The Rams are 8-19 vs. the NFL betting line in their last 27 home games. They are 1-7 vs. the bet on football odds in their last 8 games in Week 15. The last five Houston Texans  road games have all gone under the bet on football total. Six of the last seven Houston games in December have gone under. On the other side, five of the last six St. Louis home games have gone over.
