Jimmy Garoppolo threw two touchdown passes to fellow newcomer Jakobi Meyers in their Las Vegas debut. At the same time, Meyers joined the Raiders after four seasons in New England. The dynamic duo connected ten times for 81 yards. Including touchdowns of 3 and 6 yards.

The second TD erased Denver’s 16-10 lead with 6:34 remaining. Following an end zone interception by Broncos safety Kareem Jackson. After taking the lead, the Raiders held Denver to its only three-and-out. And then Garoppolo got the ball back with about five minutes left and never gave it back.

In turn, Buffalo’s QB Josh Allen was picked off three times by Jordan Whitehead in a wild and often ugly season opener. Allen tied a career-high with his four turnovers and fell to 0-5 in overtime, including playoff games.
