New Orleans Saints at Buffalo NFL Betting

NFL betting has the 2-0 New Orleans Saints traveling to Buffalo on Sunday to face the 1-1 Bills. The Saints have been the NFL’s most impressive team in the first two weeks and that is one reason why they are road favorites in pro football betting at Buffalo. NFL betting favors the Saints by six points on the road. The Saints offense led by Drew Brees has been unstoppable in the first two weeks of NFL betting. The Saints scored 45 points in their NFL betting opener and then scored 48 last week against the Eagles. Brees has 669 yards passing and nine touchdowns in the two games. “I’m having fun, but it’s only two games,” said Brees, “It only gets tougher.

The more you win, the more success you have, the more you have to battle. … You kind of have to make sure you stay humble and stay hungry.” The Saints offense also has running back Mike Bell who has 229 yards for the season, wide receiver Devery Henderson who has 174 receiving yards, receiver Marques Colston who had two TDs last week and tight end Jeremy Shockey who had two TDs the first week. “We just have the ability to spread it around to a lot of different guys and you never know who’s game it’s going to be,” Brees said. “Last week it was Shockey scoring two touchdowns. This week in Philly it was Marques and next week it will probably be somebody else.”

The defense for New Orleans has also impacted NFL betting. The Saints are tied for the league lead with six interceptions. They should get a test in NFL betting from the Buffalo offense led by Trent Edwards and Terrell Owens. Edwards has four TD passes in the first two games. Pro football betting has him with a passer rating of 104.9 which is 5th in the league. The Bills are hurting though as they lost Tight end Derek Schouman and right tackle Brad Butler.

The Saints and Bills have not met since 2005 when New Orleans won at home in NFL betting by a score of 19-7. New Orleans hasn’t played at Buffalo in NFL betting since 2001.

NFL betting trends have the Saints as 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite. The Saints are 4-0 in pro football betting in their last 4 games in September, and 0-4 in NFL betting in their last 4 games on turf.

The Bills are 6-1 vs. the NFL betting number in their last 7 games in September and 1-5 in pro football betting in their last 6 home games.
