NFC Least Has More Needs with NFL Draft Betting Odds (04/29/2021)

NFC Least Has More Needs with NFL Draft Betting Odds (04-29-2021)

On the whole, no NFL division can match the NFC East. By far, the NFC “Least” is the worst division in football. To illustrate, Washington won the 2020 division title with a 7-9 record. Perpetual overlay Dallas flopped with the NFL Draft Odds. So too, did the favored Eagles fall short. Only the outmanned and rebuilding Giants exceeded expectations. All of which leads to the importance of the 2021 NFL Draft. Specifically, the NFC East is there for the taking. And a couple of solid draft picks could make the difference.

2021 NFL Draft SBG Odds Overview

Naturally, the Cowboys get the majority of offshore betting for anything NFL. That will include the 2021 NFL Draft. Dallas received high grades for its 2020 NFL Draft performance. Of course, the team ended up worse than the previous year. This failure points out the importance of gamblers not getting caught up in the hype. Anything associated with the Cowboys comes with a full retail price tag. By contrast, the Giants are ignored by the masses. New York’s pick of Daniel Jones two years ago shows their independence from conventional thought.

Dallas Cowboys Needs

Last season the Dallas Cowboys were utterly defenseless. Early on, Dallas is going to focus exclusively on the defensive side of the ball. Patrick Surtain is getting the stare down from the Cowboys. Surtain is the star cornerback of Alabama. And if there is one thing Dallas needs is a shutdown corner. First ranked in that category is Surtain.

Also on the radar for the Cowboys is defensive tackle Christian Barmore. A redshirt sophomore from Alabama, Barmore is the top-ranked defensive lineman with most scouts.

Yet another factor to consider is the owner and general manager, Jerry Jones. At age 78, Jones is desperate for a Super Bowl. This situation makes the owner a wild card. Because of this, trades or surprise picks would surprise nobody.

Philadelphia Eagles

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie fancies himself as an NFL Draft expert. To the extent that he invites friends to his estate to scout players on his movie screen. However, the more that Lurie is involved, the worse the Eagles are doing. Coach Doug Pederson is gone. Account of Lurie needing a scapegoat for missing the 2020 NFL Playoffs.

In a similar way to Dallas, the Eagles need an outside corner. Jaycee Horn could fill that void. Horn is one of the top-ranked defensive backs for round one. He is a junior out of South Carolina. Also, another option is linebacker Micah Parsons of Penn State. Most scouts have Parsons at the top of the linebacker charts

New York Giants

On the whole, the New York Giants were one of the NFL’s biggest surprises. Joe Judge exceeded expectations as a rookie head coach. New York is in the market for an EDGE rusher. Kwity Paye of Michigan is commanding the Giants’ attention. Contrarily, some are concerned with Payne’s time at Michigan. Underachieving programs make some 2021 NFL Draft betting participants jittery.

Washington Football Team

First-year coach Ron Rivera inspired all by overcoming cancer treatments to win the division. Encompassing the next step is solving the quarterback position. Justin Fields of Ohio State is targeted.
