NFC Wild Card Betting Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas

NFL betting on Saturday night favors the Dallas Cowboys in their NFC Wild Card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. These two teams met just last week in Dallas and the Cowboys routed the Eagles 24-0. Dallas will now be trying to win for a third time this season in football betting against the Eagles when the teams meet in a game that can be seen on NBC television.

NFL betting has seen the Cowboys play very well of late and they could be a popular choice in this game against the Eagles.  The Cowboys won the NFC East with that win last week against the Eagles. Now the Cowboys will attempt to finally win a playoff game. Quarterback Tony Romo threw two TD passes last week in the NFL betting win. The defense is playing great for Dallas as they are coming off two straight shutouts. In fact, it is the first time in Dallas history they have two consecutive shutouts.  Dallas swept the Eagles for the first time since 2005. They held down an Eagles offense that was averaging 31.2 points in their previous six games.  More than 100,000 fans saw the Cowboys roll to an easy NFL betting win.

The Eagles have had a very good season in NFL betting and have some positive trends for this NFC Wild Card game, even with last week’s loss. The Eagles are 4-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Eagles are 20-9 ATS in their last 29 vs. NFC. The Eagles are 35-17 ATS in their last 52 games as a road underdog.  The Eagles are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 meetings in Dallas even though they lost last week in NFL betting.  In this series, the team getting points is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings.

Even though Dallas got the win in football betting last week they still have some negative trends. The Cowboys are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 vs. the NFC East and Dallas is 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games in January.

NFL betting trends for the total have four of the last six Philadelphia games versus the NFC East have going over the total. 11 of the last 17 Philadelphia games overall have gone over the football betting total. On the other side, eight of the last nine Dallas games have gone under the football betting number.
