NFL Betting – Bears Will Host NFC Championship after Win vs. Seattle.  The Chicago Bears defeated the Seattle Seahawks 35-24 in NFL betting on Sunday in a game that was not nearly as close as the final score indicates.  The Bears dominated the Seahawks and those making an NFL bet on the Bears were rewarded as Chicago covered the 10-point spread.

Jay Cutler
The Bears got four touchdowns from Jay Cutler, two through the air and two on the ground.  Chicago completed outclassed a Seattle team that really didn’t belong in the playoffs.  The Bears led 21-0 at the half and extended the lead to 28-0 early in the second half. The Chicago defense didn’t give up anything until the outcome had already been decided. Cutler became the third quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least two TDs and run for two more.  Cutler hit Greg Olsen on Chicago’s third offensive play of the game for a 58-yard TD and the Bears never looked back.

Late Seattle Scores
The Seahawks did get some late offense but the result was never in doubt. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw three touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.  The Bears were rolling along to an easy victory as they were leading 28-3 when offensive coordinator Mike Martz got cute and called for a halfback pass.  Running back Matt Forte threw an interception and Seattle had some late life.  They made it 28-10 but the Bears scored again to make it 35-10.  Seattle scored two TDs in the final five minutes to but the final margin to 11 points but the Seahawks still did not cover the spread.

Historic Game Coming Up
The NFC Championship game in Chicago on Sunday is going to be one of the most watched games of the season.  The longtime rivals have met just twice in playoff history.   The last time they played was in 1941 as the Bears beat the Packers 33-14.  This will be the first time in history that the Packers and Bears will meet for a spot in the Super Bowl.  Even though the Bears will be playing at home on Sunday, they are underdogs in NFL betting against the Packers.  You can make an NFL bet at the Sbg global sportsbook on the NFC title game between the Packers and Bears.
