NFL Betting – Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals

NFL Betting – Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals.  The Cincinnati Bengals host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in a matchup of two of the worst teams in the NFL.It is hard to make a case for either of these teams when making an NFL bet at Sbg global.

Cleveland can be a good team when Colt McCoy is the quarterback but when Jake Delhomme is under center they are not worth your money.  The Browns were awful last week against Buffalo in large part because Delhomme was horrible.  The Browns are near the bottom of the league in total yards per game and even worse when Delhomme is under center.  The one thing that Cleveland can do is run the ball so look for a lot of Peyton Hillis on Sunday.

Check McCoy’s Status
The biggest key in this game is the status of Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy.  If he is healthy then the Browns are worth an NFL Bet.  If he is not ready to go and Delhomme gets the start then this game is probably unplayable except for the total.  Neither team can really score so taking the game under the total is worth a look no matter who starts at quarterback for the Browns.

Bengals 2-11 SU, 4-9 ATS
There is nothing to like about the Cincinnati Bengals this season.  They have been a point spread disaster all season. They have a quarterback in Carson Palmer who is throwing interceptions, no real running game, a coach who could be on the way out and an overworked defense.  The Bengals have lost 10 straight and they are just 2-8 against the spread in those games.

Recent Series
When you look at this series it is tough to figure.  The Bengals have won 7 of the last 10 against the Browns straight up but it is Cleveland that has covered the spread in six of the ten. Earlier this season in Cleveland it was the Browns coming away with a 23-20 win.  Last season when the teams met in Cincinnati it was the Bengals winning an ugly 16-7 game.  That seems to be the type of game we will get on Sunday between two offensively challenged teams. The last three meetings between the two teams in Cincinnati have all gone under the total in NFL betting.
