NFL Betting – Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens

One of the best games on the board in Week 9 in NFL betting is in Baltimore as the Ravens host the Miami Dolphins. Baltimore had their bye last week while Miami won at Cincinnati.  The Dolphins have been a great team for gamblers to make an NFL bet with on the road while they have been terrible at home. That could mean Miami is worth taking on Sunday at Sbg global.

Miami 22-14 at Cincinnati
The Dolphins love playing on the road. They won at Cincinnati on Sunday as Dan Carpenter kicked five field goals for the second game in a row. The Miami defense completely shut down the Bengals in the second half and Miami got another big road win.  Carpenter is only the ninth kicker since 1950 to make 10 field goals in consecutive games. The Dolphins are now 4-0 on the road and 0-3 at home. It is only the fifth time in NFL history that has happened.

Ravens off a Bye
Baltimore had their bye last week so they are well rested for this home contest.  The Ravens are considered Super Bowl contenders but they need to start proving they can beat good teams. This is a big test for Baltimore to show they can beat a very good team at home.

Game Matchup
The Baltimore defense was terrible two weeks ago in the overtime win over Buffalo. The defense was shredded by Ryan Fitzpatrick so it could be that Miami quarterback Chad Henne has a good day on Sunday. The Dolphins will need to find some sort of a running game though to take the pressure off of Henne. On the other side, Joe Flacco is not having a great season but the Ravens are still winning. He will be tested by a Miami defense that is getting better each week.

Miami 6-4 vs. Baltimore
The Dolphins have won six of the last ten in this series against the Ravens but lately it has been the Ravens who have been the team to make an NFL bet on in this series.  The teams met last year in Miami and the Ravens won 27-9 to easily cover the NFL betting odds.  The Ravens also won in 2008 by a score of 27-13.  Miami won 22-16 in 2007. The last time the teams met in Baltimore was in 2005 when the Ravens won 30-23.
