NFL Betting – Giants Favored at Minnesota

NFL Betting – Giants Favored at Minnesota.   The Giants are tied for the lead in the NFC East with Philadelphia so they can’t afford to slip up and lose this game at Minnesota. The Vikings have been worth an NFL bet the past couple of weeks with Leslie Frazier as head coach and they might get some action on Sunday as well since they are at home.

Giants -2.5, total 43 at Sbg global.com
The Vikings are not sure if quarterback Brett Favre will be able to go on Sunday although it really shouldn’t matter. The Vikings are just as capable with Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback because Favre has done very little this season. The Vikings won 38-14 victory against Buffalo last Sunday and although Jackson made mistakes he also made plays.  Minnesota also ran the ball very well as Adrian Peterson had a huge game. The Vikings are also unsure if receiver Percy Harvin will play. He sat out practice on Wednesday and might be held out this week.

Giants Running Back Combo
The Giants have been getting excellent play from both Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw.  Jacobs and Bradshaw both had two touchdowns last week in a 31-7 victory against Washington. New York has had to run to win because the passing game with Hakeem Nicks and Steve Smith out of the lineup has struggled. Both players could return this week though, and that would be a huge help to Eli Manning.

Eli Manning has never beaten Minnesota, losing all four career starts. He has thrown two touchdowns and nine interceptions in those matchups. Minnesota has outscored the Giants y a 129-64 combined score in the four games.  Brett Favre is 5-1 in his last six regular-season starts vs. the Giants.

NFL Betting
The Giants are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games as a road favorite. The Giants are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in December. The Vikings are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 home games. The Vikings are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games in December. The Vikings are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games as a home underdog. If you are making an NFL bet on the total then keep in mind that the Over is 12-3 in NFL betting in the Giants last 15 vs. the NFC.
