NFL Betting Lines – Falcons Favored on the Road at Carolina.  The Atlanta Falcons have proven they are the best team in the NFC and they are favored in NFL betting lines on Sunday at Carolina. The Falcons are coming off back-to-back big wins against Green Bay and Tampa Bay.  The Falcons are 7-point road favorites this week in NFL lines at Carolina.

Atlanta Letdown?
The only concern in this game is an Atlanta letdown.  The Falcons are coming off two very emotional wins and now they go on the road to play arguably the worst team in football.  Will Atlanta let up a little bit and will it even matter?  Atlanta is a 7-point favorite at the Sbg sportsbook with the total on the game at 42. Atlanta has won six straight overall and at 10-2 they have the best record in the NFC and are tied for the best record in the NFL.

Will Carolina Show Up?
The Panthers are a bad football team. There is no denying that fact. The question is whether they show up and give a good effort at home against the Falcons on Sunday. The Panthers have lost their last six games and have been outscored 153-56 in those games.  The Panthers did get a good effort from running backs Jonathan Stewart and Mike Goodson but they have no passing attack.  Carolina actually led 14-3 last week against Seattle before giving the game away and losing 31-14. Quarterback Jimmy Clausen was 18 of 34 for 169 yards and was sacked three times.

Trends Point to Carolina
When you look at this game your first though is going to be to lay the points with Atlanta against the NFL lines.  The Falcons are great and the Panthers suck.  It seems too easy though and there are causes for concern with Atlanta. They could have a letdown and in this series against the Panthers they have actually lost six of the last ten games outright.  Even though it is late in the season this is the first time these two teams have met. They will also meet in the regular season finale in three weeks.  Last year the teams split their two meeting with each team winning at home.  The last three games in this series have all gone over the NFL betting lines.
