NFL Betting Online – Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins

September 22nd, 2022 NFL Football Betting Online Odds

This week in NFL betting online should really be show me week. Teams that are fighting for the playoffs are meeting across the board including in Miami as the Dolphins host the Tennessee Titans.  Tennessee is a slight road favorite in NFL betting at the Sbg global sportsbook.

Debut of Randy Moss
Much of the attention in this game is going to be on the Tennessee Titans since it will mark the debut of Randy Moss with the team.  It is expected that Moss will open up the running lanes for Chris Johnson and give quarterback Vince Young a deep threat.  Going up against the Miami Dolphins is nothing new for Moss as he faced that team twice every year with the New England Patriots.

Titans 5-3 SU, 5-3 ATS
The Titans have been a good team this season against the NFL betting odds and they are very much in the race for the AFC South title.  A win here against Miami would firmly entrench them as a solid playoff contender. A loss would put them back into the mix with a number of other teams in the AFC.  The Titans have Chris Johnson and now they have Randy Moss so their offense could be improved. They already have a top 10 defense that is 9th in the league in fewest points allowed.

Dolphins 4-4 SU, 5-3 ATS
The Dolphins have played a brutal schedule. There are just no breaks for Miami.  They lost against a superior Baltimore team last week and now they have to face a very good Tennessee team.  If they can get a win here they would get to 5-4 and then get to play Chicago next week.  There is no denying that this is a huge game for the Dolphins if they want to make the playoffs this season.

Recent Series History
Miami has won 7 of the last ten meetings between the two teams although they are just 5-5 against the NFL betting online point spread.  The teams played last season in Tennessee and it came down to the wire as the Titans pulled out a 27-24 win. The last time they met in Miami was in 2006 when the Dolphins won 13-10. Miami also won in 2005 at home by a score of 24-10.
