NFL Betting Page – New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks.  The New Orleans Saints are heavy favorites on the NFL betting page for Saturday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks but all is not well with the defending Super Bowl champs.  Gamblers will probably still lay the points when they make an NFL bet in this game at Sbg global.com but there are some reasons to give the Seahawks a look.

Saints -10.5, total 44.5
The Saints are the better team than the Seahawks. No one is going to debate that fact.  New Orleans finished at 11-5 while Seattle finished 7-9 and became the first team in NFL history to win their division with a losing record. New Orleans is the defending Super Bowl champs and they have a potent offense led by Drew Brees. The Saints do have some injury problems though and Seattle is playing at home.  You may still want to make an NFL bet on the Saints but there are at least some reasons to consider Seattle.

New Orleans Injuries
The Saints have some major problems in terms of injuries.  They will be without top running backs Pierre Thomas and Chris Ivory and they could be without tight end Jimmy Graham. Cornerback Malcolm Jenkins is also questionable for Saturday.

Rematch
This is a rematch of a game earlier this season in New Orleans that the Saints won 34-19. Both quarterbacks had huge games.  Matt Hasselbeck threw for a season-best 366 yards for Seattle in that game and Brees threw for 382 yards and four touchdowns. The Seahawks have not announced whether it will be Hasslebeck or Charlie Whitehurst on Saturday but it should be noted that Hasselbeck’s best two games in the past few years have come against the Saints and he has won his last four playoff starts at home.

NFL Betting Page
The Seahawks have won their last four home playoff games while the Saints have never won a playoff game on the road.  The Saints are 4-1 under head coach Sean Payton in the playoffs. Pete Carroll is making his third postseason appearance as a head coach. He went 1-2 in the playoffs as head coach of the New England Patriots.  The Saints are 5-6 all-time in the playoffs while the Seahawks are 7-10 all-time in the playoffs.
