This Monday night the 9th of November 2015 for the NFL Football battle we have the NFC North – Bears of Chicago 2-5 playing at the AFC West – Chargers 2-6 playing at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California with the kick-off scheduled for 8:35 PM ET and seen on ESPN TV.
For those that Bet on NFL football at a sportsbook like SBG Global whose odds for this game have the Chargers of San Diego favored at -4 ½ with the Over/under at 49 and -220 on the Money Line, while the Bears are the underdogs at +4 ½ and +180 on the ML. The Bears has a continuation of the losing streak, as they lost last week to the Vikings 23-20, while the Chargers also face another devastating loss to the Ravens 29-26. Thus, this should be an exciting game as both teams seek to return to the win column.
For the Chargers their QB P. Rivers this past Sunday passed for 3 TD’s as he totaled 302 yards passing, but could not overcome the strong defense of the Ravens and lost the game 29-26. In this game the Chargers WR M. Floyd stood out as he scored 2 TD’s on receptions totaling 94 yards, while receiver K. Allen had the other TD on passes form QB Rivers in the game.
In this game the Chargers QB could continue his TD spree since the Chicago pass defense has been playing wide open, and have given on some 16 TD’s to the passing game of opponents. However, the Bears defense did display some decent play against the Vikings as they limited the QB T. Bridgewater to completing only 17 of his 30 pass attempts for just 186 yards with 1 interception and 1 TD.
The question in this game is whose passing game get going 1st, and which one will prevail. Chicago has QB Butler whom to date has thrown at least 1 TD in each game this season, and the Chargers defense has allowed opponents to pass for 8 yards on each attempt to date, while allowing 14 TD’s also. If the Bears are to get started with their passing game QB Cutler will look at WR A. Jeffrey who leads the team with 1 score and 126 yards on receptions.
Also in the mix the Bears will have M. Wilson and TE M. Bennett whom both have over 200 yards in receptions this season, because the Bears have to step up their passing game to beat the Chargers. They are struggling in the offensive running game since in Week 8 their RB M. Forte went out with a knee injury in that game with the Vikings.
Taking into consideration that both the Chargers and the Bears have been allowing the opponents to score plenty of TD’s taking the under in this game could have a lot of value. For the most part the Bears have been under more and mostly playing AFC teams of the West. Also, the Chargers have has their share of games going under this season as in 7 of their games, the score had been under in 4 of those games this season. So yes with theses 2 teams struggle it’s likely that the game will go under!
The prediction for the game between the Bears and the Chargers, the San Diego team has more healthy players in their passing game that will give them the win as they cover in this game beating the Bears.
