Yes we have another 1 of the 3 Turkey Day games for this 2015 Thanksgiving Festivities on Thursday the 26th of November 2015 as two NFC-NFL Teams faceoff with the 10-0 Panthers of Carolina (NFC-South) face the 3-7 Cowboys of Dallas (NFC-East) playing at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas with the kick-off scheduled for 4:35 PM ET and seen on CBS TV.
The early odds for those that Bet on NFL Football have the game at a PK for both with the Over/under at 46 and no early ML available. Yes the undefeated Panthers of Carolina have a lot to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving as the QB C. Newton whom to date has performed like a MVP choice, and seem to be playing better each week. On the other side the Cowboys can be thankful that QB T. Romo has returned from injury, and last week led them to a needed victory. Now on Thursday the two teams meet and the Cowboys must have a win if they want to keep their almost impossible playoff chances in tack.
For fans of the undefeated 10-0 Panthers of Carolina it has been said that your team is just coming about with their real potential in this 2015 season, as they come off their best win to date which was their win over the Redskins of Washington 44-16. That followed their win in OT over the Colts of Indianapolis by 3 points. Thus, to date they have been victorious in their ultimate 3 games by an average of 18 points each game.
Their QB Newton burnt the Packers of Green Bay two weeks past as he passed for 3 TD’s and completed 80% of his pass attempts last week in the win over the Titans of Tennessee. Then in the game against the Redskins he stepped up his performance as he had a career high as he had a 5 TD day. His rookie WR D. Funchess had 4 receptions for 64 yards and 1 TD, and now for the last 3 games has 9 receptions and 2 TD’s.
The team has survived to the undefeated status with their running game and defense has been pretty effective to date. Their RB J. Stewart in the ultimate 2 games has average 97 yards rushing, while on defense they had created 5 turnovers playing the Redskins, and now are leading the NFL with 25 turnovers that they force in 2015.
In this game against the Cowboys the Panthers defense will be tested since Dallas now has QB Romo leading their offense. But that does not seem to bother the Panthers sine their CB’s are led by star J. Norman who can shut down the Cowboys receivers. Plus the talented offense of Carolina has the opportunity to excel since the Dallas defense has been struggling.
If you’re a fan of the 3-7 Cowboys of Dallas your team was lucky to have the return of QB T. Romo who brought a win to the table as he led the Cowboys to their 1st win since Week 2 as they beat the Dolphins 24-14. Now with the few game Romo played this season he is 3-0 when he started, and while he was out injured they were 0 and 7.
In his re-appearance he seemed a bit rusty after being on injury leave for some 2 months, thus he was intercepted 2 time in that last game. Plus now he only had 4 days to prepare for their big game with the undefeated Carolina team. Offensively he will get help from RB D. McFadden who in the Redskin game rushed for 168 yards, and in the last 5 games he has average 130 yards in 4 of those 5 games. Dallas may be able to rush against the Carolina defense that seems to struggle against the opponents running games.
The return of QB Romo give their offense an added feat in their passing game, and with WR T. Williams who had 4 receptions for 79 yards and 1 TD which is his highest since Week 2 and Romo’s exit. Don’t overlook the Cowboys in this game nor does their defense, as it has only allowed in their ultimate 3 of their 4 game only a total for those 3 games of 36 points.
The prediction that with the return QB Romo the Cowboys offense makes a comeback as they deal the undefeated Panthers their 1st loss if the season winning the game 27-24!
