NFL Lines: Vikings vs. Colts Game Examination and Odds. On Sunday afternoon, Andrew Luck has an opportunity to redeem himself and look for his first pro-football win, as the Indianapolis Colts host the Minnesota Vikings. Gametime is scheduled for 1:00 PM ET in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. The game will be televised on the FOX network.

The Vikings came out of a tough NFL Lines game in Week 1, winning their home opener in overtime over the Jacksonville Jaguars, 26-23. It was close all game, with the Vikings down 9-7 at the half, losing the lead, but then tying the game as the clock expired. Minnesota scored a field goal in the extra period, putting them ahead for good. QB Christian Ponder threw an efficient 20-of-27 for 270 yards. RB Adrian Peterson ran for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 17 carries. On the other hand, the Vikings have been giving up 30 ppg in their last 10.  Start your Football Wagering on Vikings vs. Colts Game.

The Colts had no answer for the Chicago Bears in their road opener, losing in a blowout, 41-21. Making his NFL debut, Andrew Luck gave a mediocre performance, throwing 23-of-45, for 309 yards and 1 TD and 3 interceptions. He was also sacked three times by Chicago.

Neither of these teams covered the spread in Week 1. The Vikings missed by ½ a point as 3 ½ point favorites over the Jaguars. The Colts were nowhere near covering, losing by 20 to a tough Bears team.

These two teams have only met twice since 2001, with the Colts winning both times. In a 2008 matchup, Indy won 18-15 after being favored by 1 ½ points. In a 2004 game, the Colts won 31-28 when they were favored by 7. Check the NFL Betting odds for Vikings vs. Colts Game.

As of right now, the Vikings are listed as a slight 2 point favorite. Minnesota was not very impressive last week, though, failing to cover the 3 ½ point spread against the Jaguars. The over/under is set at 44 ½ points.
