So the Raiders secondary defense can be helpful, since Bengals QB Dalton threw some 17 intercepts in 2014, and that was 2nd in the conference. But remember the Bengals ranked 3rd in the league as they allowed just 22 sacks in 2014.
In the last preseason game the Raider did not play that well with QB D. Carr who was 18 of 34 for 214 yards and 1 intercept. Receivers did better as A. Cooper caught 4 of 9 passes for 65 yards, while TE M. Rivera caught 3 of 4 for some 45 yards in that game, and the running game for Oakland struggled in that game. The Raiders had to thank FG kicker S. Janikowski who kept them victorious has he made 5 FG’s for 15 points in the game. In the last 3 home games the Raiders have been the underdogs, and managed to win all 3 of those home games.
The prediction is that the Raiders of Oakland with a new coach and a new look prove to be a solid team, and they will cover the spread and upset the visiting Bengals.
