Arizona Flips the Script

At the onset of the offseason, the Cardinals have made offshore betting headlines for the wrong reasons. Arizona’s playoff flop turned the heat on coach Kliff Kingsbury. Additionally, quarterback Kyler Murry took plenty of incoming for his inconsistent play. But in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Cardinals earned among the highest grades of any team. EDGE rusher Myjai Sanders of Cincinnati went in the third round and could be the steal of the NFL Draft.

How ‘Bout Them Cowboys’?

Starting with offensive tackle Tyler Smith, the Cowboys graded well in the draft. EDGE rusher Sam Williams of Ole Miss added to the nice haul. But the sleeper of the draft might prove to be Wisconsin tight end, Jake Ferguson. Ferguson arguably rates as the best middle-round pick of the entire draft. Thus, he is touted to be an immediate impact player.

Are the Sleeping Lions Ready to Roar?

To begin with, the Lions remain the most embarrassing franchise in the NFL. Detroit has never made the Super Bowl. But their 2022 NFL Draft performance ranked among the best. Above all, top pick Aidan Hutchinson was a masterstroke. Hutchinson was a college football hero for the Michigan Wolverines. Hutchinson and the Lions wanted each other and got it. But Hutchinson was not all that the Lions could brag about. Wide receiver Jameson Williams of Alabama will arrive well trained. Also, going in the first round, Williams will help diversify an offense by accumulating weapons.

Jags Off the Mark According to Grades

First overall pick Travon Walker of Georgia made a lot of sense for the Jaguars. But from there, Jacksonville’s draft was rated as slightly above average. Further, the Jags were dinged for not having a coherent draft philosophy.

Hail to the Chiefs

Following their shocking AFC championship game loss to the Bengals, the Chiefs were determined to get back on track. Kansas City’s haul in the 2022 NFL Draft was rated among the best with the NFL betting odds. Wide Receiver Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan could make fans forget Tyreek Hill.
