Packers vs. Bears NFL Betting

Packers vs. Bears NFL Betting Tips to Win at the Sportsbook. The Green Bay Packers are favored in NFL betting on Sunday in the NFC Championship game at Chicago. Gamblers really like Green Bay again this week and the Packers are a very popular choice among gamblers making an NFL bet at the Sbg sportsbook.

Green Bay
The Packers have bounced back and forth from a 3-point favorite in NFL betting to a 3.5-point favorite this week.  It looks like Green Bay will end up laying 3.5 points although the value is definitely with Chicago.  Public bettors simply can’t get enough of Green Bay as they make an NFL bet and even if professional gamblers take the Packers it isn’t going to matter.  The Packers have won their last two games on the road in the playoffs at Philadelphia and at Atlanta.  Green Bay won by 27 points last week which was the largest margin of victory by any road team in the playoffs since 1987.

Chicago
The Bears completely dominated Seattle last week in a game that was not close despite the 35-24 final score. Chicago led 28-0 and the game was over.  The Bears are now 13-0 all-time in the playoffs when they score at least 22 points.  If they don’t get to that number they are 4-17. In their last three playoff games at home they have averaged 33.7 points per game.

Keep in Mind
This is the 182nd all-time meeting between the two teams which is the most in NFL history but it is just the second one in the playoffs. The teams played way back in 1941 at Wrigley Field in Chicago as the Bears beat the Packers 33-14.  In the last five games between Chicago and Green Bay the game has been decided by a TD or less.  Green Bay has won four of the last six games against the Bears.  Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers is playing better than any quarterback has in a long time. He was 31-of-36 for 366 yards and three touchdowns last week and is the first quarterback in NFL history to throw three or more TD passes in each of his first three playoff starts. He has a quarterback rating of 129.4 in the playoffs which is the best in NFL history. On the other side, Chicago’s Jay Cutler threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more as he joined Otto Graham as the only quarterback in history to throw at least two TD passes and run for two scores.
