Now the Jordan Love era has officially begun in Green Bay Packers. Last time the Packers replaced an iconic quarterback, Brett Favre, they wound up with Aaron Rodgers. The Packers are still a sportsbook prime-time draw even after quarterback Aaron Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets. But it comes with an asterisk. Yet again, they were placed in night-game slots. But the NFL and the networks left themselves out if the Jordan Love era started rocky. Three prime-time games are in December and are subject to flex scheduling rules.

First round pick Lukas Van Ness flashed rare strength for a young defensive lineman prospect. He can contribute to a defense that has invested many resources with little tangible improvement. If Van Ness can produce early, it could benefit Rashan Gary to recover from a torn ACL. Overall, this looks like a long-term, developmental class from Green Bay.
From 1968 to 1992, the Packers were again in the wilderness. But then-general manager Ron Wolf and head coach Mike Holmgren combined to set a standard of excellence that has lasted to today. Correlate that Green Bay has missed the NFL betting odds playoffs only seven times since 1993.
Green Bay has a litany of former stars and Hall of Famers. Also, it boasts three of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
