2022 AFC Championship SBG Odds Overview

The public usually bets on the past when it comes to the sportsbook futures market. And that explains why the Chiefs are the favorite for an AFC Three-Peat. Kansas City was one of the NFL’s best teams down the stretch of the 2021 regular season. Still, Kansas City’s defense has often checked in and out. But quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce intoxicate gamblers. So too does Arrowhead Stadium.

Last year the Buffalo Bills earned the respect of the gambling community in making the AFC championship game. Although Buffalo lost at Kansas City, fans and gamblers realized they were a team of the future. The Bills are considered the obvious second choice to the Chiefs by the casuals. And Buffalo’s Wild Card pasting of the Patriots feeds into that price.

At the onset of the 2021 NFL Playoffs, the Titans owned top seed and home field in the AFC. But squares consider Tennessee as the third choice in the AFC. Public perception of Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill is not good. Thus, the reason for Tennessee being the third choice.

In view of their first playoff win in 30 years, the Bengals are a feel-good story. But the public remains skeptical of Cincinnati in the long term. Cause by their struggles to get past the 7-seed Raiders in the Wild Card round.

Kanas City Chiefs

On the whole, Kansas City’s Wild Card domination of Pittsburgh was a Pro football bets reminder of their many advantages. Patrick Mahomes remains the most dangerous playmaker in the game. Travis Kelce is the game’s best tight end. And Arrowhead Stadium provides a home field advantage like few other venues. In turn, Pittsburgh was validated as unworthy of the expanded playoff format. KC completely outclassed the Steelers.

Buffalo Bills

Buffalo played a perfect game in their Wild Card slaughter of the Patriots. Accordingly, some gamblers are worried that such a performance will be impossible to replicate. Especially at Kansas City on Sunday.

Tennessee Titans

Fans of old school football may gravitate to the Titans. To illuminate, Tennessee wins with the traditional formula of power running, ball control, and good defense. Problematic in today’s NFL is the difficulty of hiding a quarterback. Ryan Tannehill is going to eventually have to make a play. Gamblers are skeptical of his ability to do so.

Cincinnati Bengals

To be exact, the Bengals are a team of the future. Cincinnati has amassed an impressive amount of talent. However, it is not likely that the future is now.
